Welcome to Latinx Like Me, the show where we embrace how beautifully diverse our community is while also celebrating the things that unite us. I’m your host, Emma Cardenas, a first generation Mexican American born and raised in L.A.

In a world lacking Latinx representation across the board, I wanted to help bring our amazing and diverse stories to the forefront in the hopes that someone will make a connection and say “Hey, they’re Latinx, like me.”

We’ll be hearing from different voices about the ins and outs of growing up Latinx, how they’ve navigated and addressed a multitude of stereotypes, and dive into some taboo subjects that may have your tias lighting a candle.

Colombian, Mexican, Dominican and more, all of our stories are meaningful and unique, and deserve to be heard.
